Capitol Heights Vol. Fire Department and Auxiliary Mourn the Loss of Anna Smith

We are sad to report that on Thursday, August 7, 2008 Anna Smith, Lifetime Member of the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary passed away at the age of 92.

Like many in the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary, the department was a family affair. Her father, William Pierce, was a charter member of the department and Anna’s mother, Mrs. Annie Pierce, was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
