Signal Corps, Cryptography Instructor 3rd Army Division – Fort Gordon, Georgia
Shortly after the Korean War ended in 1953, a fourth Miller brother entered military service. Corporal Charles Miller served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. He too, was assigned to the Signal Corps. Corporal Miller was a Cryptography Instructor for the 3rd Army at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Charles joined the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department in 1951 and is a Life Member. He has held office in many positions in our department including Chief and President. Charles currently serves as our Treasurer.
