Air Force – U.S. Air National Guard

Master Sergeant David S. Breeden, Jr. served in the Air Force USANG from 1958 to 1980. While serving in the Air National Guard he was on full active duty from October 1961 through August 1962 and again from January 1968 through June 1969. During Dave’s service he was assigned to the base fire departments at Andrews Air Force Base and at Langley Air Force Base, working his way up through the positions as a firefighter, driver and crew chief for both aircraft crash/rescue and structural firefighting crews. At the time of his retirement, he was the Fire Chief for the DC Air National Guard, stationed at Andrews AFB. Dave, a Life Member, has been a member of the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department since 1957 and has served as Chief for 14 years and President for 5 years.
