U.S. Air Force – Combat Support Group, Presidential Honor Guard
Robert served in the Air Force 1973 through 1977. He served in the Combat Support Group from 1973 to 1975. His unit was responsible for the evacuation of Saigon in 1975. They took civilians and officials from Siagon to Thailand or to various ships by helicopter. Robert also served in the Presidential Honor Guard from 1976 to 1977 after this return from Vietnam.
